Rig Designer Team

1,000 Sign-Ups on Rig Designer! 💙

Hey designers! We just passed 1,000 sign-ups! It feels like we were celebrating 500 not too long ago. Doubling it so soon wasn't something the team expected, and we're still a little stunned every time we look at the number. The number itself isn't really the part that gets us though. It's the camera rigs you post every day, the people who take the time to both ask and answer questions, and all the interactions in between. We couldn't have built that on our own. That's all you! There's still so many things we're working on every single day! But today we just wanted to stop and say thank you. Thank you for being here, for building, and for making RD what it is. 1,000 of y'all is wild. Onward to the next milestone! 🙌 ~ Anthony, Cameron, and Michael

200 Camera Rigs on Rig Designer!

Thank you everyone for TWO HUNDRED rigs on Rig Designer! It took us eight months to hit our first hundred, and just three months later we’ve already doubled it. The growth, creativity, and support from this community have been unreal. Every rig you build pushes us to keep improving and expanding what Rig Designer can do. We appreciate every single one of you. Onward to the next milestone! 🙌💙

Rig Compatibility Is Here (Beta)!

Hey designers 👋 We're thrilled to announce that camera rig compatibility is live! Some of you saw it on our Discord already (https://discord.gg/q2wem2DjC6); we've been waiting a long time to post this one! Simply select your camera rig parts and the Compatibility Checker will tell you which ones work together and which ones don't. It's especially useful in helping you avoid making critical gear combination mistakes prior to purchase. Just be aware that is in beta, so it won't catch EVERYTHING yet. There are some things it might not check, and maybe even some things it will get wrong. Please tell us if it does! Comment here with what it flagged or what it missed, or open a ticket on our Discord. Our goal is to reach 100% accuracy! As before, we always recommend you get some community feedback on your rig before making purchases. To get started with the Compatibility Checker, just head over to the builder: https://www.rigdesigner.com/builder Thank you so much for helping us build this wonderful tool! ~ Anthony, Cameron, and Michael 💙
