Fujifilm’s new instax mini Evo Cinema Hybrid just dropped, and it honestly feels like one of those cameras that’s built purely for fun. It’s still very much an instant camera, but the hybrid approach gives it way more flexibility than the usual point and shoot film vibe.
Under the hood, it’s more capable than you’d expect. You’re getting a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor with a 28mm equivalent f2.0 lens, shooting at 2560 by 1920 resolution. The 1.5-inch LCD on the back lets you preview shots before you print them, which is clutch if you don’t want to waste film.
